The true strength of any successful high school is born out of a dedicated community of support focused on meeting the academic, arts and athletic program needs that exceed a traditional school budget. It is for this reason, the Give2Lawson Annual Fund program was created.
Through the loyal generosity of the greater Lawson High School community, we are building the finest public high school in the state of Tennessee.

How You Can Donate to Lawson
Donate Online
Visit our online giving site and select the academic, arts and athletic programs you wish to support.
Please Note: There is a 4% donation surcharge added to the amount you choose to give online. Should you wish to avoid the added 4% surcharge, see Donate by Mail below.

100% of donations made via check are applied to your selected annual funds.
- Make check payable to: Lawson High School.
- Mail check to: 8001 Hwy 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221.
- Attention: Clifton Mitchell
- Please note on the check or enclose a letter listing the annual fund you wish to support with your donation. For a donation to be distributed between multiple annual funds, please list each annual fund you wish to support and the amount each should receive from your total donation.
Enclosed Letter Examples
- “Please accept this $500 donation for the Cheerleading Annual Fund.”
- “Please accept this $500 donation to be distributed as follows. $250 for DECA club Annual Fund and $250 for Boys Soccer Annual Fund.”
Annual Donor Recognition Program
We work hard throughout the year to repeatedly honor our $500+ donors of money, products and professional services.
- Donor logos are displayed daily on campus multimedia screens viewable by students, staff and campus visitors.
- Donor logos are displayed on the Thunderdome gymnasium big screen during games.
- Donors are announced over the PA system at home football and basketball games.
- Donor logos with a link to their business are displayed on our @LawsonLightningAthletics Facebook page.
- Donor names are listed on the official school website.
- $1000 plus donors are invited to film an episode of “Impact” to share their personal and business stories. Impact is produced by the James Lawson News Network and published on their YouTube channel to be seen from anywhere in the world.
- $1000 plus donors with a plus 1 are added to our guest list for all regular season home football and basketball games.
- Business donors may attend career day events to conduct student interviews.
- Donors working in careers connected to the fields of study at Lawson are invited as special classroom speakers.
